Overview

NekoVoid is an AI-driven Discord bot self-hosted and operated by Chika-AI. The service runs on Discord and on operator-controlled infrastructure. NekoVoid is provided primarily for entertainment and convenience and is an early-build, experimental product that may contain bugs, incomplete features, and unpredictable behavior.

Acceptance

By using NekoVoid or any associated website or dashboards you agree to this Legal Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum local age to use the service. By using the service you represent and warrant you meet this requirement.

Service description and scope

NekoVoid responds to user inputs, stores selected inputs in an internal memory bank to improve conversational continuity, and provides moderation, utility, text, and voice features. The bot requests and uses the Discord permissions and voice capabilities necessary for its features.

User content, memory, and data handling

  • User Content: Any text, uploads, files, voice inputs, or other material you submit to NekoVoid.
  • Memory: NekoVoid maintains a memory bank that may store selected User Content, summaries, and contextual data. The memory system attempts to filter personal and sensitive data but cannot guarantee complete detection or removal. Do not submit personal, sensitive, or confidential information.
  • Operator access: Chika-AI, as operator and host of the self-hosted deployment, has access to User Content and memory data.
  • Backups: Backups are retained only for core files and critical data and may include user-submitted content, conversations, and interactions as necessary for operation, debugging, and recovery. Backup retention follows Chika-AI backup schedules.
  • No third-party processors: All processing and storage are under Chika-AI control; no third-party processors are used at this time.
  • Deletion: Verified deletion requests may be submitted to Noelle@chika-ai.dev and will be processed within 30 days where feasible; backups and forensic logs may persist longer per retention schedules.

Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

  • Acceptable use: Use NekoVoid lawfully and in accordance with Discord’s Terms of Service and server rules.
  • Prohibited conduct: You must not: (a) use NekoVoid to create, request, or distribute illegal content; (b) attempt to coerce the AI into providing content that facilitates illegal activity; (c) attempt to bypass or defeat safety filters; (d) submit other people’s private or sensitive personal data; (e) engage in harassment, threats, doxxing, discrimination, or distribution of malware; (f) attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Enforcement: Misuse may be detected by automated monitoring, operator review, or user reports. Chika-AI may suspend, revoke, or restrict access immediately for violations or suspected misuse, purge related memory entries or logs where appropriate, preserve records for investigation, and disclose information to law enforcement as required.

Warranty disclaimer and AI-specific warnings

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” CHIKA-AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • NekoVoid may generate inaccurate, offensive, infringing, or otherwise objectionable content. Users are responsible for submissions and for decisions based on AI outputs. NekoVoid is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice.

Refunds and monetization policy (future provision)

  • Current status: NekoVoid is not monetized.
  • If monetized in future: Refunds will be available within 72 hours of purchase if you are not satisfied. Each user will be limited to three refund requests in total from the date of their initial refund. After using a refund request, a 1.5-year cooldown applies before the user recovers one refund ticket under a new allowance cycle. If all three refunds are used, Chika-AI may review prior refunds and deny further refund requests if abuse is reasonably determined. Exact billing, dispute, and refund mechanics will be published with any paid offering.

Intellectual property and license

  • Ownership: Chika-AI owns or is licensed to all intellectual property in NekoVoid, its code, documentation, names, logos, and website content.
  • User license: By submitting User Content you grant Chika-AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, use, reproduce, modify, and display submitted content to provide, improve, and develop the service and to comply with legal obligations.

Indemnity and limitation of liability

  • Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chika-AI, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your submissions, or your breach of this Legal Notice.
  • Limitation of liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHIKA-AI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF DATA. CHIKA-AI’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER TO CHIKA-AI FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

DMCA, legal requests, and preservation

  • Copyright claims: If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in violation of law, submit a takedown request to Noelle@chika-ai.dev with sufficient information to identify the material and your contact details.
  • Legal process: Chika-AI may preserve and disclose information in response to lawful requests by courts, law enforcement, or government authorities.

Governing law, disputes, and severability

  • Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Chika-AI is established.
  • Venue: Disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.
  • Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

Changes

Chika-AI may modify this Legal Notice at any time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
